Module 3
Bridging the Triad of Therapist, Client and Medicine
Modile 1 supports therapist to guide clients deeply into their felt experience, both in Psychotherapy and Non ordinary experiences, as the pathway to deeper, more fundamental insights and subsequent change.
The scope of module 1 is primarily on the preparation and integration of clients engaging in Psychedelic medicines.
The macro learning outcome is the realigning of psychotherapeutic approach to match and support the Characteristics of the psychedelic experience; thus reorienting Mental Health practitioners from a top down (thinking) orientation to a bottom up (felt) orientation.
In bridging the triad of Therapist Client and Medicine the learner will navigate 2 key directions
- Learning and applying psychotherapeutic skills, approaches, frameworks and lenses that support clients to engage via a bottom up, feeling orientation whilst staying in direct relationship with their own experience and the therapist.
- To support the therapist themselves to become more Felt lead, Bottom up and in relationship with themselves and their clients.
Aligning approach to medicine powerfully supports clients to better assimilate their non ordinary experiences into integrated wholes at the cognitive, somatic relational and spiritual level.
Being problem focused, cognitive, analytical and “client lead” are important and useful approaches in conventional Psychotherapy, although these largely Top-down approaches are insufficient when guiding clients through many or most forms of Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy.
Learning outcomes to the macro phenomenological movements which Psychedelic Experiences induce.
Psychedelic experiences are a sensation lead experience, rather than a process of thinking about, analysing or solving.
Learn how to
- Naturally attune to the therapeutic process through Refining your awareness and Interpretation of your own somatic/sensory information
- Build trust in using this sensory information to inform the therapeutic relationship.
- Support clients to attune to, and respond to, and make meaning of their own felt experiences both in the ongoing Psychotherapy and their Non Ordinary experiences.
Psychedelic experiences deepen states of presence and bring us to what is here and now.
Learn how to
- Deepen your connection with, and respond to, what is happening here and now in yourself, with your client and in the therapeutic relationship, across the entire preparation , psychedelic experience and integration phases of therapy.
Psychedelic experiences Are non-ordinary Experiences which bring new and novel experiences
Learn how to
- Facilitate clients experimentation of what’s new and novel, rather than only “unpacking “ and talking about what’s new
- Link clients’ developmental interruptions to the micro and macro psychological adjustments, which unfold during Non ordinary experiences.
- Facilitate awareness of, and experimentation with, these links to support both higher level meaning making of self and to promote healthier behaviour and choices beyond their developmental interruptions.
Psychedelic experiences move people out of thinking about themselves and into direct relationship and experience of themselves.
Learn how to
- Bring clients into relatedness with aspects which are currently out of awareness and essential to their growth.
- Reorient clients from “talking about” issues and feelings, to “being with issues and feelings”
- Direct clients into relatedness with their experiences, promoting ongoing change.
- Facilitate clients out of analysis and into felt relationship whilst in non-ordinary states of erxperience

- And facilitate deep somatic resolution to these ancestral entanglements as part of the preparation process.
- Learn how to guide clients into clear somatic contact with the intergenerational traumas they hold, whilst facilitating resolution through relatedness to these traumas and entanglements.
- Guide clients to resolution when direct ancestral experiences emerge whilst in Non-Ordinary states.
- Engaging with clients past their problems and sculpting meaning in their experience of wellness
Psychedelic experiences profoundly influenced by the set and setting of each encounter.
